About Haematology

Within the Division of Laboratory Services The Department of Clinical Haematology incorporates the Anticoagulation serviceThe Haemophilia Treatment Centre, the Transfusion service at the Royal Children's Hospital as well as the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Thalassaemia clinics at the Royal Women's Hospital.

Clinical Haematology provides general non malignant haematology services to both The Royal Children's Hospital and The Royal Women's Hospital as inpatient and outpatient service as well as providing consultative support to General practitioners and Paediatricians throughout Victoria.
