How can we help you?

Consider the following options if:

  • You are interested in how to raise support for wellbeing and specifically for a Festival for Healthy Living in your school. See Establishing a Regional Steering Committee.
  • You are interested in forming a cluster of schools to meet the funding guidelines for the Festival for Healthy Living
  • You are interested in extending your wellbeing program in a school. This might include how to identify protective factors in a school, how to enhance those factors and how to identify and reduce risk factors affecting wellbeing.
  • You are interested in developing a Festival to enhance wellbeing and social competencies within your school as part of an innovative middle years project.
  • You are interested in working with an existing cluster for your Innovations and Excellence program,

Who conducts Professional Development?

 This will vary from region to region, cluster to cluster, but will involve one or more of the following:
  • FHL Professional Learning Coordinator and the FHL Artistic Coordinator
  • A regional Mental Health Promotion Officer (MHPO)
  • The local Artists Coordinator and Artists Team
  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) staff
  • School Focused Youth Services (SFYS) staff
  • Neighbourhood Renewal
  • Regional education organisations such as DEECD Wellbeing staff, DEECD Student Support Services staff, Catholic Education Office pastoral care staff
  • Community health agencies and organisations such as the Centre for Adolescent Health
  • Student Welfare Coordinators.
