About Content Management Systems (CMS)

Web content is the text, graphics, video and other media used in your website. It can quickly grow stale or become out-of-date. Content Management Systems (CMS) allow content owners and contributors across an organisation to easily add or modify their own web content without assistance from the web staff.

CMS Features allow:

• content owners access to their information from any connected PC
• an authorisation process to occur
• changes to a web page to be tracked over time.

RCH has used a CMS to manage web contnet since 2002.
