Media Production Services

Media Production Services at ERC provide a variety of digital media services to a wide range of internal and external health clients.

Video production services include concept development, budgeting, research, scriptwriting, producing, filming, directing, editing, music licensing, packaging and distribution.

Media services include:

  • Production of promotional, educational, motivational and training videos
  • Filming and editing of lectures, seminars and conferences
  • Patient clinical recordings
  • Recording and live broadcasting of surgical procedures
  • Live studio recordings
  • DVD & CDROM authoring
  • Transcription, language translation and subtitling
  • Conversion of video for Powerpoint®
  • Media monitoring of RCH news reports
  • Mass Duplication (DVD, CD and VHS)
  • International standards conversion (PAL/NTSC)

Full scale video production is complex and time consuming so please let us know your requirements as soon as possible to avoid delay.

Studio

The Media Production unit has a well equipped studio suitable for single camera filming or live switching of up to four cameras. We shoot broadcast quality pictures within the hospital or on location, and edit with professional digital editing software. The final product can be outputted to various formats including DVD, audio CD or CDROM, PowerPoint, Internet, MiniDV or VHS video.

The Production Team

This internationally award-winning production team includes Senior Producers Rob Grant and Jo Giles, Producers Tim Brown, Sam Ira and Rachel Paterson and regular freelance crew Emre Acar and Demos Karkazis.

Client Brief Forms

Mass Duplication

Media Production Services can arrange duplication of any quantity of units in any media format with a choice of packaging options.

We can duplicate up to 500 CDs or DVDs in-house within a few days at a very competitive price. Larger orders are contracted out to one of our trusted external duplication/replication houses.  Duplicates are spot checked throughout the process to ensure consistently high quality with every batch.

Throughout the production and duplication process we remain mindful of the project objectives. With assistance from ERC Graphic Design we work with clients to create effective and cost effective packaging appropriate to the budget, audience and distribution channel.

Distribution of Media Resources

The distribution potential of a new media resource is explored at the very beginning of the production process.  Often the creative concept is influenced by the proposed distribution plan. The project's funding options can also be determined by the potential audience reach and promotional opportunities afforded by the distribution.

If appropriate, clients are offered the opportunity to post their new media resource on the RCH Shop retail website where their resources can be promoted and available to a worldwide audience.
