Role of Decision Support
Decision Support provides analytical, business and information
support to all areas of the hospital to assist in the achievement
of performance management initiatives and strategic goals.
Specifically, the department provides the following services:
- Performance reporting and analysis
- Data/information extraction and analysis
- Funding/Revenue (WIES, VACS etc) analysis
- Business analysis
- Advice and assistance with developing business cases and
funding submissions
- Patient costing
- Benchmarking with Children's Hospitals Australasia (CHA)
