Communities That Care Services and Resources.
Communities That Care has developed a range of assessment tools to assist community planning. The "Prevention Planning Survey" is used to gather the views of community professionals and members (stakeholders) regarding where the community is along the process of building community capacity to plan and deliver effective developmental prevention. The "Communities That Care Youth Survey" has been designed to assess primary and secondary school student perceptions of key influences on healthy development including relationships and experiences in the context of their community, home, school and peer groups. This information has been shown to provide a vital aid to community prevention planning. Communities That Care assessment tools are used within carefully developed training frameworks to assist community planning activities.
