Stat Transfer
Data are often obtained in a format that is unsuitable for analysis with your favourite statistical package. Stat/Transfer is a separate utility program for Windows which enables datasets in various formats to be converted among these formats. For instance, it can create a Stata data set from an Excel file, a dBASE file, an SPSS file, or a Systat data set, among others.
