Who are we?

We are quantitative scientists with expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology and data management.

What do we do?

• Research Advice, Consultancy and Collaboration 
  We provide help and advice on many aspects of clinical, public health and laboratory research, including researcher-initiated clinical trials.  We are active collaborators in many research projects led by colleagues throughout the RCH campus and beyond.
• Data Management
  We provide training and advice on data management. We offer database setup and data capture services.
• Short courses and training 
  We offer a comprehensive range of short courses in quantitative research methods.
• Biostatistics research
  We conduct research that aims to develop and strengthen the biostatistical methods that underpin much public health and clinical research.

CEBU is jointly supported by The Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and the University of Melbourne, located at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Melbourne.

We work closely with Research Development & Ethics at RCH; our services are available to all researchers on the RCH campus.
