This manual has been specifically designed for the staff in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services to use as a training resource. The aim of the manual is to educate OSHC services about age appropriate injury prevention and relationship to child development. There are 11 modules that raise awareness of potential hazards and causes and examines strategies to prevent injuries in Outside School Hours services. The manual is designed to give you flexibility in the way you approach the training modules and is designed so you can work through the material individually and/or discuss in a group situation, for example at a staff meeting. |
