This CD-ROM series aims to:

• provide professionals with the knowledge and skills to refocus existing services in their local area so they emphasise prevention, early detection, and early intervention
• support communities in establishing the local processes and structures to facilitate closer coordination and integration of children's and families' services.

Each of the seven modules is designed to be delivered by a facilitator and take 3 hours to complete.

• support professionals, parents and teachers in the treatment of children with ADHD
• provide the latest research findings on the pharmacotherapy aspects of ADHD.

Outside School Hours Care Injury Prevention Manual

Target audience: Staff in Outside School Hours Care services

This manual has been specifically designed for the staff in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services to use as a training resource. The aim of the manual is to educate OSHC services about age appropriate injury prevention and relationship to child development.

There are 11 modules that raise awareness of potential hazards and causes and examines strategies to prevent injuries in Outside School Hours services.

The manual is designed to give you flexibility in the way you approach the training modules and is designed so you can work through the material individually and/or discuss in a group situation, for example at a staff meeting.

This manual is available to download from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development's website.

This CD-ROM aims to:

• update theoretical understandings and influence clinical practice on family-centred practice.

This CD ROM contains 50 hours of professional development that can be undertaken individually or in small groups.
