Ward Medical Staff

In the ward, primary medical care is provided by two Resident Medical Officers, a Paediatric Registrar, doctors training to specialise in cancer and blood disorders (Clinical Fellows), and occasionally visiting doctors from overseas. The Resident Medical Officers and Registrar make a daily ward round to check all patients. The Residents and Registrar are available for questions about the day-to-day clinical management of your child.  They are responsible for arranging the appropriate investigations for children and for performing procedures such as the insertion of intravenous lines and lumbar punctures. Overall supervision of inpatient care is provided by a consultant.
