Consultant Medical Staff
Associate Professor David Ashley is Director of the Unit. Medical care is provided by means of shared responsibility from a team of full and part-time consultants. All consultants accept the care of private and public patients. In most cases the follow up of patients is undertaken by the consultant who was on ward duty when your child was first admitted and is usually the consultant who explains your child's diagnosis to you. All follow-up care is provided in the Specialist Children's Cancer Centre Clinic where all patients are bulk billed.
