Regional Outreach and Shared Care Program (ROSCP)

The ROSCP is an initiative of the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS). The ROSCP is a program that facilitates the transition between the primary treating hospital and the regional centre that cares for children and adolescents with cancer. The program provides opportunities for shared care and ensures there are agreed levels of training and standards of care for medical, nursing, allied health and supportive services.

Long Term Follow-up Program (LTFP)

The LTFP is an initiative of the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) and is currently being implemented in conjunction with the Children's Cancer Centres at Royal Children's HospitalMonash Children's at Southern Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
The LTFP supports and facilitates the patient and family transition from completion of curative treatment through off treatment surveillance and on to the 'survivorship' phase of the cancer journey in the most appropriate setting. The aim of the program is to provide a clear and consistent standard of long term follow-up (LTF) care which is responsive to the needs of childhood cancer survivors and their families.
