Avenues of Training

cah17The Centre for Adolescent Health offers a range of post graduate opportunities and integrates expertise from clinical and forensic services, research and community programs. Recognising the different needs of workers with young people in the post graduate education environment, the Practice and Learning Cluster within the Centre for Adolescent Health has developed several avenues of access to training, including:

Target Audience

The strength of the Practice and Learning Cluster lies in the varied education and workplace background of the trainers. Our student audience varies from a wide range of multi disciplinary professionals who work with young people including:

  • Health: General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Dentists, Allied Health Professionals
  • Education: Teachers, Student Welfare/Pastoral Care Workers, Principals, Year Level Coordinators, Student Aides
  • Welfare: Youth Workers, Social Workers, Counsellors, Government Workers
  • Forensic: Police, Courts, Juvenile Justice Workers, Forensic Health Workers
  • Community Groups: Service Clubs, Scout Groups
