About us

Established in 1991, the Centre for Adolescent Health is recognised nationally and internationally for its commitment and achievements in advancing young people's health and wellbeing.

The Centre responds to the health problems that affect young people between the ages of 10 and 24 years.  The vision of 'making the difference to adolescent health' is based on advancing knowledge, practice and policy in relationship to adolescent health.

An initiative of the Royal Children's Hospital, we have strong links to The University of Melbourne, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, and to the community.

Your comments and feedback are welcome

The Centre for Adolescent Health is supported by a dynamic, influential Development Board who will work with the Centre and its stakeholders.

The art work displayed on this page was created by some of the young people from a number of the programs run at the centre for Adolescent Health.
It was created for an art exhibition held during the 7th Annual Australian and New Zealand Adolescent health Conference in 2009 in Melbourne.
