2012- an event aimed at young people to help raise funds and awareness for The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

Organised by a team of young people already associated with The Royal Children's Hospital, 2012 is a social fundraising event to engage young people throughout Melbourne to help raise funds for the hospital.

In 2011 the new Royal Children's Hospital is scheduled to open and this will be a world class facility that will provide Victoria's children with the best possible care and treatment.

Beyond this, in 2012, we envisage that the advances in medical technology and research will surpass our imaginations. We must be prepared to maintain and support such advances. Money raised from this evening will support the future needs of the hospital.

2012 Hosts

Brodie YoungBrodie_Young_200px

The '2012' Team is delighted to have Brodie back on board this year! Brodie had a fantastic time hosting '2012' at Eureka Tower last year, and is looking forward to sharing the mic with Amanda as the two of them have great chemistry. He was definitely a highlight of the night with his great hosting skills. Brodie's initiative and quick sense of humour was a perfect fit for our guests.

Brodie Young sprang onto the entertainment scene after his bold accepted intrusion on Network 10's Big Brother 2 in 2002 and immediately developed a rapport within the public eye.

His most recent role was as the zany host of Quizmania, a vibrant live-to-air late night interactive game show seen nationally, on the Nine Network. His ability to talk underwater, think quickly and respond appropriately allows him to take on roles with enthusiasm and confidence. His on-camera presence and quick, light-hearted wit has provided an easy choise for clients looking to vibe up a promotion, or appeal to the impressionable 15-35 demographic, as seen recently by his television commercials for Global Rags and Jamster Mobile.

Brodie acheives balance in his spontaneous, topsy-turvy, "Jack-of-all-trades" lifestyle by taking a keen interest in art, through photography and painting. He's fit as a fiddle, having recently completed Certificate III and IV in Personal Training. He is a moviegoer, loves the local music scene and tries not to miss a Pies game! Considered within the entertainment industry as someone who is going to make it, his peers merely know him as the fun-loving, carefree, cool guy.
